Sandblasted panes are sealed with a glass-like layer. The peaks and troughs of the blast-cleaned surface are therefore permanently protected against deep penetrating dirt, such as from greasy fingers and fingerprints. In most cases, dirt can be easily removed with a damp cloth. The cleaning effort can thus be reduced by up to 90%.
